Not Just The Farmer’s Daughter!!

Surprises galore at the 2025 Tropical Plant International Expo! Hundreds of exhibitors presented their robust collections of florals, vines, trees, planters, pottery, landscaping equipment and so much more. Sweetgrass owners Norine and Lawrence, though in the business of selling faux florals and greenery, attend such events to stay current in the real and naturallooks of Mother Nature. From enormous tropicals to perfectly sculpted bonsai the show brings industry leaders together to introduce the newest and latest trend innovations.
Among the many vendors that Fuller and Martinelli visited they were introduced to a new exhibitor to the show, The Farmer’s Daughter. Owner and founder, Jacqueline Costa has created a planter collection which captures today’s decorating trends. Her container collections sound remarkably like designer fashions: Jardin Chic, White Out, Back to Basics, Nature Inspired, Delight in the Dark.
With a great array of “fashionable” containers flanking her exhibit site, Norine wrote a sizable order to add to Sweetgrass Galleries’ already robust collection of pottery, ceramic, fiber clay andglazed containers. Jacqueline recently visited the Sweetgrass Galleries showroom to understand more about the Galleries’ clients, the silk flower and faux plant industry, before she heads out to Asia for more design development of new collections. Sweetgrass awaits the next runway show!
